Old and new barns dot the Montana countryside as agriculture is still a large and small business in this area. While some wearily remain standing (or leaning) as idle relics most are filled with hay, equipment, and small livestock and live on. There are thousands of them. The local bookstore has a hefty coffee table book on historic Montana barns. Most are red but there is an enormous yellow barn on the road to a favorite hike of mine. If I wanted to, I could post a picture a day of barns. This is today’s.
